Market

Bédoin

Throughout the year, Monday is market day at in the village of Bédoin. Sellers from far and wide travel to the village to sell their wares between 8 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. This market is obviously very popular with tourists – in high season, it resembles a parade. However, if you visit this market in the off season, you will be able to soak up the lovely ambience of southern France to the full. Admire the look, the smell and the taste of all of the lovely local produce on offer.

Take your pick from the many olives for sale – green and black -, tapenades, nougat, herbs, lavender, fabrics, hats, fruits and vegetables. The market takes up the entire High Street of the village so access by car is very limited. Our advice is to leave your car on the side of the road on the outskirts of the village, just like everyone else does.

“You will find a wide range of olives for sale, both green and black, as well as tapenades, nougat, herbs, lavender, fabrics, hats, fruits and vegetables. “
